Established in 1977 by proprietress Bobbie Schwartz, APLD, the business quickly earned recognition for her creativity and in-depth handling of the design process. This process begins by listening to the client's desires and aspirations as well as learning about their relationship to the landscape in order to create a truly inspiring design that is environmentally friendly and matched to both the site and the client.

Bobbie's work is epitomized by certain signature elements: a passion for color, a love affair with perennials and ornamental grasses, and the creation of four-season landscapes. You can be sure that specified plants have been thoroughly trialed in real-life site conditions (Bobbie's garden and those of some of her clients) and, therefore, meet the highest standards.

To increase her knowledge of gardening and design, Bobbie regularly attends horticultural and design conferences, which include lectures and garden tours. Her love of gardens has taken her around the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe on trips that provide inspiration as well as introductions to new plant material, but she is always happy to return home, ready to create inspired, magical gardens for herself and her clients.
