A Perennial Lover's Garden shows what you can do with perennial plants in northern Ohio, and is based on my own gardens. I started with one garden bed, but that didn't last long. A commercial landscape need not be boring! Indeed, a well-designed landscape can soothe the soul and excite the spirit in just about any setting, especially amid the concrete jungle of our cities. This page shows one of my commissioned projects, University Hospital in Cleveland, and how I designed a series of garden beds that are interesting, beautiful and soothing to the patients and their loved ones for as long a time as possible.
